At last we had a worthy panoramic. Hope coming excursions be similar! Here is my proposal for excursion 03 (this coming Saturday). Please NOTE the change of date !!!!!!!! Here is my proposal:

| Access: | To reach "Le Chinaillon" we have two alternatives:1) Drive to Annecy, take road D909 to Thones and St. Jean de Sixt and from St. Jean de Sixt take D12 and D4 to Le Grand Bornand, 2. Take "L'autoroute Blanche" to Bonneville and once there follow the signs to "Le Grand Bornand". Once in "Le Grand Bornand" continue along road D4. About 8 km is the distance to "Le Chinaillon". Before arriving in Chinaillon we should find a road to the left which will drive us to la chapelle de Chinaillon. We should park wherever we find a place. This is our starting point! The trip from CERN to Le Chinaillon will take about 1h45 ( or less depending on the pilot, the alternative, the traffic, etc) |

It is convenient to emphasize some useful items: please do not forget to carry on (wear) raincoat, hat/cap and sun glasses, warm gloves, hiking boots or sport-footwear with thick and non-slipping sole, enough food and drinks for the own consumption. Spear dry clothes and after excursion confortable shoes are very convenient.
