Having additional hints to enjoy outings is a must. Therefore, I'm proposing this outing which has the possibility of complementing it with a different activity like thermal baths. In fact, in Lavey Les Bains, a village nearby the end point of the outing, there are public thermal baths which use to be available untill late in the evening. Here is my proposal:

| Access: | To reach La Forcle - Morcles we should take the swissmotorway passing by Montreux and continue to St. Maurice where we shall get out the Motorway to take a road driving us to Lavey-les-Bains. There we shall take the road to Morcles (about 7 Km) an continue to the site of La Forcle where we will park. The trip from CERN to La Forcle should take about 1h40. |

It is convenient to emphasize some useful items: please do not forget to carry on (wear) raincoat, hat/cap and sun glasses, warm gloves, hiking boots or sport-footwear with thick and non-slipping sole, enough food and drinks for the own consumption. Spear dry clothes and after excursion confortable shoes are very convenient.
