| Access: | To reach Le Foron take the Autoroute Blanche and getout at the high of Cluses. Take road D902 to Taninges. Continue along the road D902 for about 3 km. Take road to the left at the high of "Le Pont des Gets" that drives to Le Praz de Lys. Before Le Praz de Lys after passing by Fry take road D328 down to the righ passing by the sites called Chez Ouillet, les Cotes. Some 200 m after take road driving slightly to the right passing by Bonnavaz. Continue along the road for about 4 km to reach Le Foron. Park somewhere there. The trip from CERN to Le Foron should take about 1h30. |

It is convenient to emphasize some useful items: please do not forget to carry on (wear) raincoat, hat/cap and sun glasses, warm gloves, hiking boots or sport-footwear with thick and non-slipping sole, enough food and drinks for the own consumption. Spear dry clothes and after excursion confortable shoes are very convenient.
